By Halal Dhabihah (slaughtering), a large amount of the blood pumped by the heart will rapidly exit the body from the incision area; the exsanguination will result in a rapid drop in blood pressure. As a result, the brain is deprived of its most important source of oxygen and glucose, which ultimately, will cause a rapid reduction in cerebrospinal fluid pressure, leading to deep shock and fainting. Subsequently, a large amount of blood will be exsanguinated due to muscle contractions and pressure; therefore, the pathogens cannot access the iron (of blood) they need for their activity. As a result, the meat will have better quality. The sudden and swift deep incision with a very sharp knife on the throat required in Islamic slaughter does not impose any unusual (unnecessary) pain on the animal. The characteristics of Islamic slaughtering method have led to an increase in the consumption of Halal meat in non-Muslim communities.
